The Last of Us. Thanks HEAPS NaughtyDog!
Couldn't say "EPIC" enough for UC3, Still think there are aiming issues.. just slightly though. The topics listed in the review are all correct and well noted.
There's no denying. NaughtyDog at least has the credibility to pick a very fine actress as a basis for this incredible looking game.
Think they may have based the look of the lead girl character with "Inception" actress Ellen Page.. Gotta say absolutely "WOW!!!" on the trailer, great stuff NaughtyDog!
The 3rd installment is impressively seamless, same intuitive control lay-out.
Absolutely staggering game play.. only thing that bugged me was the story plot about Marcus' father in Gears 2 didn't sort of lived up to my expectation on Gears 3.
There seems to be one underlying mistake that most/all game-trailers have in common - weight.. mainly the lack of it or where it's supposed to be delegated.
The price of 2D/3D capable screens have just dropped at an alarming rate they are just unbelievably affordable now than they have ever been. It ain't no gimmick and absolutely worth the upgrade that's for sure.
Just looking at the new "Darth Vaderesque" Audi R18 sends frightening shivers up me back!
I'd put a dollar if they can make it look and bring a sense of sim-racing experience that the big guns like Dirt, Forza, GT5 and the like does but is still rooted in the spirit of the WRC.
Doing basic stuff just isn't enough anymore these days.
I hate it when fans talk about sales ranking in very extreme ways.. like they had contributed importantly to it's record. Just let the game speak for itself.
Have to say the alternative/exotic cars on offer at Forza4 are very very formidable since those cars are on the same timeline as the game and the amazing engine sounds are a plus, but if you're going to talk about the basics -- huge advancement in sim driving experience during game-play ( and add a lot of great and different steering wheel brands to choose from at all price points for us gamers' ), the A.I., weather, day/night, damage notwithstanding graphic significance GT5 is still ...
A really really good game and yes I was engrossed with the Autovista mode, clearly Turn10 did an absolute fine job with the research and a couple of other tidbits with each vehicles' tech and history.
Kudos also in putting some gobsmacking alternative exotic cars in there.
Will be anticipating to see more DLC tracks and vehicles in the near future.
It's still looks like the cars are floating instead of being planted.. quite certain that's how it will feel like during actual in-game play. C'mon this is the WRC Series give it the cred it deserves.
Got both consoles and still have to say GT5 simply is miles away when it comes to graphical brilliance, but Forza4 definitely offers the better and more enjoyable race tracks to play on. Don't really mind that Forza4 does not have weather/night effects.. on GT5 I really think the night races were somewhat underwhelming and on some occasions completely undrivable especially on race courses that did not have lamp posts' on either side of the tracks.
I just wish it had the graphics and race-sim experience that we get from the likes of Dirt3, just to give the "real" official cars more cred.
Would be really great to have night and weather.. maybe next time.
Have to say honestly nothing beats GT for graphics but Forza offers a wider variety of better and more enjoyable tracks.
Race track looks superb! I strongly believe Turn10 picks and builds the best gritty tracks on any console. They are just absolutely magnificent to look at and extremely enjoyable to play in. Way better than those offered in GranTurismo and I'm a GT fan as well.
EA keeping the rights to own the Porsche brand honestly is no big deal. The only real loser is Porsche.
Porche - embarrassing!
Think it's safe to say we're going to expect a very compelling story/plot and same charismatic characters as that of Uncharted series which NaughtyDog is famous for.
